KofKaN EnergySense
Smart sub-metering for commercial and industrial sites
Overview
A single utility meter tells you what a site spent, not where it went. EnergySense is our sub-metering approach: compact metering nodes on individual circuits or distribution boards, reporting to one dashboard that splits consumption by area, tenant or machine. That attribution is what makes efficiency work possible — it turns a monthly bill into a list of specific loads worth investigating.
System capabilities
Circuit-level metering
Multiple channels per node so a distribution board can be instrumented in one install.
Consumption attribution
Readings grouped by tenant, department or machine rather than reported as one site total.
Tariff-aware totals
Energy accumulated against time-of-use periods to reflect what consumption actually costs.
Anomaly detection
Unexpected out-of-hours load flagged, which is often the fastest efficiency win on a site.
Simple retrofit
Clamp-on CTs and a compact enclosure keep installation within a normal maintenance window.
Exportable data
Series available through the dashboard or API for reporting and internal billing.
How it works
- 01Clamp-on CTs instrument individual circuits
- 02Metering node computes per-channel power and energy
- 03Readings publish over Wi-Fi to the site collector
- 04Collector groups channels into tenants, areas or machines
- 05Dashboard reports consumption, cost and anomalies
Applications
- Commercial buildings
- Multi-tenant facilities
- Manufacturing
- Campuses
- Energy management programmes
